CHAMBERSBURG, PA – The Greater Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce is excited to send the Chamber Travel Club to realize the natural wonders of Costa Rica from February 16-24, 2019. Hot springs, the Arenal volcano and Tortuguero National Park are among the highlights that all are welcome to explore, guided by UniQuest Chambersburg Travel, LLC, a local travel agency.

“Costa Rica promises to be one of our most exceptional trips yet,” said Lark Plessinger, Chamber Travel Club coordinator. “Traveling with the Club provides a unique opportunity to explore amazing areas of nature with your neighbors, while enjoying the safety and guidance of native experts coordinated by UniQuest.”

Trip highlights include a visit to a banana plantation, a guided cruise through Tortuguero National Park, a tour of the rainforest and an opportunity to spot beautiful and endangered wildlife. Travelers will also enjoy a walking tour of LaFortuna de San Carlos, spectacular views of the Arenal Volcano and a visit to Natura Park.

Before returning to the U.S., there will be an opportunity to enjoy two days in the cloud forest of Monteverde, including the Skywalk hanging bridges, the Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve and the family-owned Trapiche farm, which features a homemade lunch. Finally, a stop at Sarchi Village, the center of Costa Rican handcrafts, will give travelers a chance to collect souvenirs before returning home.

The adventure includes first-class lodging accommodations, breakfast daily, five lunches and five three-course dinners, including a special farewell dinner in Monteverde. Pricing begins at $2,108 land price per person, based on double occupancy. Airfare prices are to be announced, and will be coordinated by Uniquest.
