Chamber Travel Club Announces Wine Country Cruise

CHAMBERSBURG, PA – The Greater Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce is excited to host its third Chamber Travel Club trip exploring California’s wine country from September 12-19, 2018. All are welcome to discover the Pacific Coast with Dream Vacations, a local travel agency, and Princess Cruises.

“Trips with the Chamber Travel Club are always fantastic because it’s a core group of friends, family and neighbors exploring the world together,” said Cathy Folmar, co-owner of Dream Vacations – DeShong, Folmar & Associates. “This cruise offers everything from wine tasting excursions to visiting the best of San Francisco; we are very excited to travel again with the Club!”

Travelers will visit Vancouver, Victoria, Astoria, San Francisco and Santa Barbara. Some sight-seeing opportunities will include the Santa Barbara Mission, Alcatraz Island, Muir Woods, Golden Gate Bridge, Astoria Column and much more. While aboard Princess Cruises’ Coral Princess, trip attendees will experience the best of onboard entertainment from shows and comedy clubs to discos, lounges, casinos and more. 

Pricing starts at $1,091.50 per person double occupancy for an inside cabin and includes cruise, port charges, taxes, shipboard gratuities and Princess transfers in Vancouver and Santa Barbara. Additional cabins based on availability at the appropriate rate. Not included are travel protection insurance, airfare (organized by Dream Vacations) and Chambersburg transfers to/from airport (organized by Dream Vacations). A portion of the proceeds will support area businesses and the Chambersburg Chamber, a nonprofit organization.

Two informational sessions with in-depth presentations about the trip are planned for Monday, January 8 at 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. at the Chambersburg Chamber, 100 Lincoln Way E. in Chambersburg.
