Celebrating 150 years of Central Presbyterian Church On The Square in Chambersburg
Four (4) years and one month after the Burning of Chambersburg, Central Presbyterian conducted its First worship Service in the Chambersburg Courthouse (August 23, 1868)
Saturday July 21st Central will participate in Old Market Street Day – with our customary opening of the Lincoln Way West Comfort Station throughout the day and evening.
In addition to the Restrooms being open to all Friendship Hall will have tables set up, so you can bring your lunch or supper And Comfortably eat in an Air-Conditioned Atmosphere.
An Organ Recital by three members of the American Guild of Organists will be open to the public from 11am to 12 noon. You may come and go as you like via the Church Entrance on the Square or via the Lincoln Way West entrance and use the Elevator to the Sanctuary.
Tours of the Sanctuary Tiffany Windows will begin after the Organ Recital commencing about 1230 PM until 4 pm. Sign up for tours at our Welcome Table in front of the Church on the Square
