Event Description:
The Franklin County Historical Society will present a murder mystery, “Murder at the Boarding House”, on Friday, October 13 and Saturday, October 14 from 6:00pm-10:00pm. The event takes place at the Old Jail, 175 East King Street, Chambersburg.
Tickets will be available ahead of time or at the door - Adults $10, Children 6-12 $4, Kids under 6 free.
Show up at any time once we open. You will be led through the building in groups, meet suspects, and interview them if you like. Wait times are traditionally longer around 7:00pm, so plan your arrival accordingly. We will do our best to keep large groups together.
This event takes around 45 minutes to an hour and involves walking up and down steps and standing in line/standing during the tour. Children who can navigate steps/remain focused for that amount of time do best.
This event is great for families, scout groups, youth groups, or groups of friends! Can you figure out whodunit by the end?
