First Responders Appreciation Day
Event Description:
Celebrate the holidays with the 10th Annual First Responders Appreciation Day!
Volunteers will put together care packages to deliver to more than 30 first responder stations in the county to thank them for their tireless dedication to keeping our community safe.
What can YOU do to help?
1. Make a thank you card with your children thanking the first responders for their tireless efforts. Cards will be included with care packages delivered to each station.
2. Donate any of the following items:
• Snacks/beverages that are individually wrapped such as Granola/Protein Bars, Nuts/Trail Mix, Cheese & Peanut Butter Crackers, Mints or Gum, Chips, Beef Jerky, Candy, Small Packs of Donuts, Microwave Popcorn, Sports Drinks, Powder Packets of Sports Drinks/Teas
• Supplies for the station such as large cans of coffee, K-cups, hand sanitizer, little memo books, sticky notes, highlighters, black ink pens, lip balm
• Monetary donations to be used for extra snacks for goody bags, gift cards for food/supplies, etc.
