Event Description:
Follow the history of twenty-one PA Veterans as they serve during WWII.
Everyday people from all walks of life enlisted or were drafted. They were not sure of their desinations or what skills they would need to serve.
Take their journey from 1941 to D-Day 1944 and learn about their contributions to the US Armed Forces.
Lou Lerda, our presenter, was a member of the 281st Assault Helicopter Company, the first Special Operations Helicopter Company in the Army.
Free and open to the public. Light refreshments offered.
