Event Description:
Drew's Hope is a grief support program for children, teens and their families who are grieving the death of a loved one.  The free seven session program includes dinner and separate support groups for children, teens and adults.  Children engage in grief-related activities, games and enjoy a visit from therapy dogs, while teens and adults participate in activities, education and discussion about grief-related topics while gaining positive support from group facilitators and fellow group members.  The program is offered at two locations - Shippensburg University (at the Luhrs Elementary School) and Greencastle Antrim Middle School (as needed).  The SU program will meet every other Tues. from Feb. 6- May 1, 2018  while the GAMS location meets every other Thurs. (dates will be set when enough families request this location).  Pre-registration is required by contacting Marcie Taylor, Drew's Hope Family Services Coordinator at 717-532-8922 or drewmichaeltaylor@pa.net.
