Drew's Hope is a grief support program for children, teens and their families who are grieving the death of a loved one. The free seven session program includes dinner and separate support groups for children, teens and adults. Children engage in grief-related activities, games and enjoy a visit from therapy dogs, while teens and adults participate in activities, education and discussion about grief-related topics while gaining positive support from group facilitators and fellow group members. The program is offered at two locations - Shippensburg University (at the
Luhrs Elementary School) and
Greencastle Antrim Middle School (as needed). The SU program will
meet every other Tues. from Feb. 6- May 1, 2018 while the
GAMS location meets every other Thurs. (dates will be set when enough families request this location). Pre-registration is required by contacting Marcie Taylor, Drew's Hope Family Services Coordinator at 717-532-8922 or
