Creatures of the Night

Bring your family to Buttonwood Nature Center to experience autumn wildlife at night with a Buttonwood naturalist. A short pre-hike learning session will explore native crepuscular and nocturnal animals like owls, foxes, and others. Following the learning session, the group will head out on one of Buttonwood's trails for an evening hike to listen and look for some of the winter nighttime critters. Bring your own red-light flashlight if you have one, and dress for the weather, as the hike may last up to an hour. All ages welcome. Limited to 30. Cost: $5 per person; registration required.
