Plans For Constitution Day Observance
President Judge Shawn D. Meyers of the Common Pleas Court for the 39th Judicial District invites the public to attend a Constitution Day 2026 Observation at 10 a.m. September 15 at the Franklin County Judicial Center, 14 North Main Street, Chambersburg. 
James A. Gibbons, Lackawanna County president judge, will be the keynote speaker for this event. Meyers will also offer remarks and will announce the winners of this year’s Franklin County Bar Foundation Constitution Day Art Contests. Wilbur Jackson “Jack” Myers, a 103-year-old World War II veteran, will perform the national anthem, and Kim Kelly will sing “America The Beautiful.”
