THE BEAUTIFUL AND HISTORIC CAPITOL THEATRE IN DOWNTOWN CHAMBERSBURG CONTINUES ITS POPULAR TRADITION OF A HOLIDAY MOVIE AND SOCIAL HOUR ON THURSDAY, DECEMBER 20 WITH TWO MOVIE SHOWINGS AND SOCIAL FESTIVITIES IN BETWEEN
(Chambersburg, PA…) Nostalgia and the spirit of the holidays will abound on December 20th when the biggest screen in town showcases one of the most beloved holiday movies amidst the beauty and grandeur of the 1927 historic Capitol Theatre. The wonderful 1954 tune-filled family Christmas movie featuring Danny Kaye, Bing Crosby, Rosemary Clooney and Vera Ellen is about a successful song-and-dance team become romantically involved with a sister act who team up to save the failing Vermont inn of their former commanding general. Movie tickets are $5 at the door. Come early for the 6:30 evening movie or stay after the 3:00 first showing for festive social time with your family and friends.
