Itinerary Description
6 floors of exciting Biblical exhibits await you! Making its grand opening to the public in November 2017, Museum of the Bible’s 430,000-square-foot building is located just three blocks from the U.S. Capitol in Washington, DC. Museum of the Bible aims to be among the most technologically advanced and engaging museums in the world. The grand entrance welcomes visitors with two 40-foot high bronze panels flanked by an architectural re-creation of the printing bed of the first page of Genesis from the Gutenberg Bible. Showcasing rare and fascinating artifacts spanning 3,500 years of history, the museum offers visitors an immersive and personalized experience with the Bible, and its ongoing impact on the world around us. The museum offers two dining locations for lunch on your own schedule and cost. The Milk + Honey Café, located on the Mezzanine, offers “grab and go” foods featuring sandwiches, baked goods (such as cinnamon date buns) and Old World-style Churchill Coffees. Manna, the museum’s sit-down café, serves Mediterranean foods such as soups, flat breads, pitas and desserts and is located on the sixth floor boasting a rooftop garden and offering a great view of downtown DC. On our way back to Chambersburg, we will stop at the Golden Coral in Frederick for a cost-included buffet meal and soft drink.

Registration and $95 payment must be received by October 10. Please make check payable and sent to:
